For the past forty years, our Nyingma organizations, established by Tarthang Rinpoche, have relied on the generosity of friends and donors to support our Dharma projects around the world. SINI, as one of its branches, gathers strength from these roots as well. Although at SINI we are a relatively small network of individuals, our efforts have been maximized due to a fostered environment of can do coupled with must do!
The Sarnath Institute is premised on the belief that all individuals are happiest when they are giving freely from their hearts. We believe that volunteering, providing technical services, financial support, and good wishes is the foundation of creating a more harmonious and happy environment and we invite you to participate in ways you see most suitable. Support what you can to help develop goodness in the world!
Please contact us for more information on how you, your school, or family can be involved.
SINI depends entirely on the generosity of its donors to support its services and activities. If you are interested in supporting our work, there are three main ways to do this: PayPal, check, or wire. Please see below for more information.

Volunteering at SINI-India and SINI-Ratna Ling (Sonoma, California)
SINI relies on the goodness of volunteers from around the world to accomplish its mission to build bridges of goodness. If you are interested in volunteering with SINI, or would like more information on current volunteer opportunities, please contact our program coordinator, Renate Marx, at Renate.Marx@sinibridge.org
All SINI volunteers are encouraged to be inspired by the commitments and conduct of the monastic participants. If placed in India, we request our volunteers to consider making a three-year commitment to help support the monks for a longer period of time. This longer term commitment helps to ensure continuity and stability and allows for deeper growth.
Due to restrictions on international travel, most of SINI’s programs are currently online. If you are interested in joining SINI from the US and would like to know more about volunteering for SINI at our sister organization in Sonoma, California, Ratna Ling, please contact our program coordinator at Renate.Marx@sinibridge.org
