Kaveri and TJ Singh

Indian-born artists Kaveri and TJ Singh are partners in life and in art, and live and work in Los Angeles. They share an unspoken language that guides their work and their philosophy. Together they share a story and an experience that is the foundation of their practice. Kaveri and TJ have worked with leading interior designers from around the world. Their work can be seen at Historic estates such as the Greer Mansion, the Brody House, and the Dominguez Wilshire restoration for the LA Conservancy. The sense of hybridity in their work, merging both eastern and western traditions, led to one of their most significant projects. This is a Sacred Murals project depicting the life of the Buddha, where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon. The murals fill the main meditation hall of the sacred temple at the Sarnath International Nyingma Institute.
