Patricia Mathews supports SINI’s administration. As an English language specialist, she has a broad range of experiences in administration and project coordination. She taught English composition and English for Specific Purposes for over 20 years in the U.S. and overseas. Her education includes a B.A. in communications (Speech) from the University of Michigan, an M.Ed./ TESOL from Grand Valley State University, and doctoral studies in Composition and TESOL from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Patricia has lived and worked in several African countries, China, Japan and India. Her familiarity with India includes living in Mumbai in 1983; in 2019, she was an English Language Fellow at the American Center in Kolkata. She is from Michigan and Colorado, where she spends time with her family.
