Khenpo Konchog Norbu Tamang Lama, born in 1977 in Nepal, joined the monastic Namdroling Junior High School in India in 1997. There he pursued Buddhist studies and the study of Tibetan literature and grammar. In 2002, he joined the Ngagyur Nyingma Institute (Higher Buddhist Studies Research Centre) and successfully graduated from a nine-year course in Buddhist Philosophy in 2010. He was then conferred the title Lopon (M.A. in Buddhist Philosophy and Practice). In 2018, he was conferred the title of Khenpo (Doctorate in Buddhist Philosophy and Practice) by H.H. Karma Kuchen Rinpoche. He was a student in the EDP program from 2021 – 2024. Khenpo is a member of the SINI Translation Team. In 2023 he was accepted the role of Principal of the EDP Program.
