I was born in the Golok region of Dhoemey. I came to India in 2006 and joined Namdroling Monastery in South India with the blessing of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
In 2017, I earned a Bachelor of Buddhist Philosophy and a Higher Secondary degree in Buddhist Philosophy. I spent six years studying traditional Tibetan Medicine at Men-Tsee-Khang College and earned my degree. Additionally, I researched medicinal materials at the Dekyiling Sowa-Rigpa Study and Research Center in Dehradun, where I applied my knowledge of traditional Tibetan medicine.
In 2016 I completed a Yoga Teacher Training Course in Rishikesh and received certification. Since then, I have practiced pranayama and yoga exercises almost every day. I joined SINI in January 2025 as the Associate Director, and beyond my management and supporting role, I enjoy sharing my passion for yoga with interested students and colleagues—it’s my small way of promoting wellness and creating community in our workplace.
