Kagyur Karchag Project
Under the guidance of Tarthang Rinpoche, the Kangyur Karchag Encyclopedia Project has produced the first comprehensive encyclopedia of the Tibetan Buddhist canon (Kangyur) in Sarnath, India. This significant work offers a systematic overview of the entire Kangyur and employs an ecumenical approach to make the Buddha’s teachings accessible to both scholars and lay practitioners.
