Renate Marx, while born in Germany, moves between countries and worlds. She studied Drama in Education and earned a Masters in Political Science from Freie Universität Berlin. A passion for interdisciplinary collaboration and experiential learning has fueled her career. Renate has been a manager and program developer at the crossroads where education meets civics, intercultural studies, and the arts for twenty years. After two decades in the development and management of education, Renate took a sabbatical to participate in the Four Month Human Development retreat at the Nyingma Institute in Berkeley. Since 2010, she has been a full-time volunteer at Nyingma Mandala. Since 2015, she has been splitting her time between SINI India and California, working full-time for SINI.
