Khenpo Tsultrim Namtak was born in Ladakh and studied at Lamayuru Monastery. In 1995, he joined the Kagyu College in Dehradun, where he spent 15 years studying Buddhist philosophy, Tibetan literature, and grammar. In 2011, His Holiness Drikung Skyabgon awarded him the title of Khenpo (Doctorate in Buddhist philosophy and practice). He remained at Kagyu as a teacher until joining the EDP program at SINI in 2022. He completed the EDP program in 2024 and agreed to serve as the Assistant Principal.
